Since our last news item on our ‘Learn to Earn’ project in the heart of the Lamontville township, we have acquired and set up shop in a beautifully renovated container.
The kids seen here are keen shoppers looking for ‘best buy’ items, which include food and second hand clothes donated by Style-Me Image Consulting and other generous givers.
Again, many of the township kids are able to ‘spend’ the tokens they have earned by improving themselves by attending classes, getting good grades, behaving well, cleaning up, sharing and generally being helpful. We are ever grateful to all our sponsors and volunteers for their continued support.
